Cookie notice
Which cookies our website uses, for what purpose and for how long, and how you can change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The same applies to other information that is stored in or read from your browser.
How we use cookies
The site works without cookies, and the spam protection of our forms does not use them. We use cookies for two purposes: to remember your cookie choice and, only with your consent, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
Strictly necessary cookies
A strictly necessary cookie stores your cookie choice so that you are not asked on every page. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
When you use the AI assistant, the conversation is stored in your browser's session storage so that it continues from page to page. It is deleted when you close the tab. It does not require consent, because it is necessary for the service you have requested to work.
- sc_evastevalinta: stores your cookie choice. Valid for 12 months. Set by Samla Capital.
- samla-avustaja: the AI assistant's conversation and session in the browser's session storage. Kept until the tab is closed. Set by Samla Capital.
Advertising measurement (only with your consent)
We measure the effectiveness of our Google ads, that is, whether clicking an ad leads to a contact request on our site. Measurement starts only if you accept it. If you do not accept, Google's measurement is not loaded at all.
- _gcl_au: Google Ads conversion tracking, that is, linking an ad with an action taken on the site. Valid for 90 days. Set by Google.
- _gcl_aw and other cookies beginning with _gcl_: store information about an ad click so that it can be linked to a form submission. Valid for 90 days. Set by Google.
- vt-kampanja and vt-gclid: campaign link details and the ad click identifier in the browser's session storage, so that they can be attached to a viewing request. Kept until the tab is closed. Set by Samla Capital.
When you accept measurement, the data is passed to Google, which may also use its own cookies on its own domains. Google may process the data in the European Union and the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. How Google uses data
Consent and changing it
We ask for your consent on your first visit. You can accept or decline equally easily, and the site works the same way in either case. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and withdrawing consent removes the measurement cookies. Your choice and its time are recorded so that we can demonstrate consent afterwards.
More information
The processing of personal data is described in more detail in the privacy notice, and everything is brought together in the Trust Centre. Questions are answered by our primary contact person in data protection matters, Samppa Lajunen, info(at)samla.fi.
